This dataset depicts the approximate locations of annexations to the City of Salinas, Monterey County, California. This is an unofficial dataset and should be used as a reference only. Bounday lines were manually digitized following historic annexation maps and are not based on the official LAFCO land survey points. Included are the names of the annexations, their dates, and their annexation numbers. There have been minor adjustments to these boundaries since their official establishment, in particular around the City's current limits, that are not reflected in these data.
