Collision data is collected by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) Statewide Integrated Traffic Records System (SWITRS) and a derivative product is publicly available from UC Berkeley's Transportation Injury Mapping System (TIMS). Our collision data is updated every three to four months and may have differences in collision locations compared to TIMS data.
